Returns, Refunds and Exchange
Q: Can I return my order if I change my mind?
Yes. Yes, Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from receiving your order to let us know you want to cancel. After that, you have another 14 days to send the item back.
Q: What are the conditions for returns?
- Unworn & unwashed: Items must not have been worn (other than trying on), washed, or altered.
- Tags & labels: Must still be attached in their original position.
- Condition of items: Items must be free from make-up, deodorant, perfume, fake tan, pet hair, or other stains/odours.
- Sets & bundles: If the item was sold as part of a set (e.g. co-ords), the full set must be returned together.
Q: When will I receive my refund?
We’ll refund you (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving your return, or proof of postage. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
Q: Who pays for the return shipping?
- If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, we’ll cover the cost of return postage.
- If you’re returning an item simply because you’ve changed your mind, you’ll need to cover the cost of sending it back to us.

Order Help
Q: Can I amend or Cancel my order?
We’re unable to amend orders once they’ve been placed (this includes changing sizes, colours, or delivery addresses).
If you’d like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at Modestgarmentsuk@gmail.com. Orders can only be cancelled before they are dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and will need to be returned following our Returns Policy.
Q: My order arrived but an item is missing — What should I do?
If something is missing from your order, please contact us straight away through the contact page or at modestgarmentsuk@gmail.com with your order number and the item details.
We’ll investigate and, if the item was missed, we’ll send it out to you at no extra cost. If the item is unavailable, we’ll issue you a refund instead.
Q: What should I do if i receive a faulty item?
We’re really sorry if you’ve received a faulty item. Please contact us at Modestgarmentsuk@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your order, including your order number and clear photos of the fault.
Once confirmed, we’ll cover the cost of return postage and offer you a replacement or a full refund. If the item is out of stock, we’ll issue you a refund instead.
Q: What happens once I place an order?
Once you place an order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email straight away. This will include your order number, the items you purchased, your delivery details, and a link to track your order status.
Q: Will I get updates when my order is shipped?
Yes! As soon as your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number (if available). You’ll be able to follow your parcel’s journey right to your door.

Q: How much does delivery cost?
- Standard Delivery (2–4 business days): £3.50 for orders up to £50, £5.00 for over £50, and free for orders over £100.
- Express Delivery (1–3 business days): £5.00 for orders up to £50, £8.00 for orders over £50, and free for orders over £110.
Q: How long does delivery take?
- Standard Delivery: 2–4 business days.

Q: Will I get tracking information?
Yes — as soon as your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details so you can follow your parcel.

Q: How do I know what size to order?
Many of our styles are designed as one size fits most, meaning they are made with a flexible fit to suit a range of body shapes and sizes.
For items with specific sizing (e.g. S, M, L or S/M, M/L, L/XL), please refer to the description of the item for measurements.
All items has measurements in the description of the product.
Q: Are the colours true to the photos?
We do our best to capture the true colour of each item in our photos. However, please note that colours may vary slightly due to lighting, studio settings, and different screen or device displays. If you’re unsure about a particular item, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to provide more details.
Q: Do you restock sold-out items?
We try our best to restock popular pieces whenever possible. However, as many of our items come from selected suppliers, there are times when we’re unable to get them back in stock. If you see something you love, we recommend grabbing it before it sells out!
Q: What materials are your clothes made from?
The material and fabric details for each item can be found in the product description on the product page. We include this information so you can see exactly what each piece is made from before purchasing.
